28/12: To all you local businesses, please get a web site
I’m snowed in here an extra day in Switzerland, throwing my schedule all out of whack for shopping back home. I can usually stroll through the town during lunch, but this time I would be arriving late. The $64 dollar question is “how late is the store open? Sure I could call them, but since it is currently 3 AM there, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be open, even during the holidays.
Even if you own a small little shop and have no desire to become the next Amazon, please consider a web site. If you only post your phone number, hours and directions, you will offer a great service to those trying to spend money with you. And please, no spinning logos.
