Greetings from Norway!

If you have never been to Norway, I highly recommend that you visit. I was here for a great in water boat show, which is always fun. I prefer the in-water shows because you get a better feel for the true size of the craft. They always look bigger when in dry dock.

I was staying in this beautiful B&B just outside of Sandvika where the show was. Having gone there year after year, I have built a nice relationship with Audun and Beate Beglund who run the establishment. After losing a World Cup bet, I made good by agreeing to cook dinner for everyone one night. They were gracious hosts and turned the kitchen over to me for the evening.

I wanted to make a real american meal, so I pulled together a grocery list and headed over to the local grocery store, an ICA. It was a great store (their corporate mission statement is “to make every day a little easier”), and I was able find everything on my list.

While touring the store, I kept seeing imagry of this green clad super hero with a website address listed. Once I returned to the B&B, I fired up my laptop to see what this super hero was all about.

Despite needing heavy translation from Beate, I was very amused by the site. The company took a bland subject of lower fat consumer packaged goods and created a great video website. Even if you can’t understand what he is saying, definitely take a moment to explore.
